RARE Dambusters 617 50th Anniversary & Tirpitz MATCHED PAIR of Frank Wootton Limited Edition prints - Signed by the pilots
Matted and ready for framing, matched pair of 617 (Dam Buster squadron) prints of the Dambuster raid and the sinking of the Tirpitz.
Both prints having matching serial numbers of 335/850. Originally purchased from Richard Lucraft of London in the 90?s.
Both in excellent condition. Both prints still sealed in cellophane. Official certificates and a history of 617 Sqn included.

1943-1993 Dambusters 50th Anniversary
Published for 617 Squadron to mark the 50th anniversary of the formation of the squadron on March 24th, 1943.
The painting portrays the large attack on the Mohne Dam on the night of May 16th/17th 1943 with Gibson in AJ-G and Martin in AJ-P
circling either ends of the dam at the moment the breach was first seen.
