Dambusters 617 Squadron RAF Print Signed x17 inc. Bomber Harris
An incredible rare find. An original print by Keith Broomfield of "G" for George, Guy Gibson's legendary Lancaster of 617 Dambusters’ Squadron.
The print was signed by the last 16 surviving squadron members (now all deceased) as well as the Marshal of the Royal Air Force during WWII – Sir Arthur Travers "Bomber" Harris, and the artist.
A colour 20 x 14 Limited Edition print of an Avro Lancaster aircraft of 617 Squadron (ED932 AJ-G, being the bomber piloted by Wing Commander Guy Gibson on the Dambusters Raid, 16th May 1943)
individually signed by sixteen members of 617 Squadron and their Commander-in-Chief, most of whom participated in Operation Chastise :-
All have signed with their names alone in various coloured inks to the white background. Also signed by Keith Broomfield of the RAF Museum.
The signature of Harris is faded, although legible, and a few of the signatures are a little weak, although perfectly legible.
Accompanied by the list of signers from the Battle of Britain Museum.
Size: 51cm x 33cm (unframed). Mounted on its original back board. Will be shipped unframed for security.
